Hillary Trail

The Hillary Trail links established walking tracks in the Waitakere Ranges, as well as trails above and along some of Auckland's best-known west coast beaches. The trail is marked by signs containing this image of Edmund Hillary (the New Zealander who, together with Tenzing Norgay in 1953, first climbed Mt Everest).
